And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
From the times that we mature from disciples to sons and from sons to Elders who can teach others, we find ourselves in a progressive cycle of building. Faith requires that we continually judge and discern the matters that are before us in a manner that builds us and others in the righteousness of Christ. From the time that we become disciples, our eyes are opened to see and discern the realm of the spirit. This spiritual discernment causes us to see the relationship that the Kingdom of God has with all people and all things on earth. Therefore, having been enlightened as to the fellowship that we are to be partakers of, we likewise extend relationship to build the same.
The Greek word, koinonea, means fellowship. Koinonea fellowship of Acts 2:42 serves to bring us into intimate relationship with the spirit life of God and man through the image that God created man in. (Know no man after the flesh) Another word for fellowship is Koinonos. Koinonos fellowship further leads us to combine mature faith with others to become mutual partners in greater community. (Matt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered, there I am in their midst) Whether we gather ourselves into fellowship as disciples, sons, Elders, or Five Fold ministers, the ministry that is born out of the first fellowship is purposed to build greater community. The later part continually serves to demonstrate the greater works that Jesus promised we would do.
To understand how Kingdom community is formed beyond the local church body, we must have some understanding of God's divine order in how He creates. All spirit led ministry will raise a mutual witness in the spirit man of all who participate in Kingdom community.
It's easier to understand spiritual precepts of divine order by examining them in relationship to analogies that practical methods can be taught through. A Carpenters Square is associated with building. We can also connect prophetic teaching to the same analogy by using the Angles that are commonly used in geometry. From what stands upright in righteousness (faith), anointing and ministry flows downward to be distributed to greater community.
The Building of Community through Spheres (Metrons) of Influence and Favor
Right Angle
Koinonea fellowship: Mature fellowship in the Holy Spirit. Koinonea means fellowship, association, community, communion, joint participation, intercourse, distribution (as exhibiting an embodiment and proof of fellowship) Acts 2:42
Psalm 133
The Excellency of Brotherly Unity.
A Song of Ascents, of David.
133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Coming down upon the beard,
Even Aaron’s beard,
Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon
Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing— life forever.
Straight Angle
Apostolic ministry is ministry that flows out of the Apostles gift. Much like the Scales of Justice that we see in the picture above, apostolic ministry is always "weighted" with another part for balance. This is especially so in ministry that is operating to build community outside of local church bodies.
Koinonos fellowship: We experience this fellowship of mature faith with other believers of like faith. Koinonos is defined as a partner, sharer in anything, associate, comrade and companion.
2 Corinthians 8:23 As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker [a]among you; as for our brethren, they are [b] messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.
Those who participate in apostolic ministry know that it takes mature partners to co-labor together in ministry that leads to regeneration. True companions in the faith serve to produce the synergy needed for greater ministry. Fellowship in the anointing builds us until Christ be formed in us through the ministry gifts. The gifts then raise relational standards of family and community. Divine order is further revealed through ministry that raises standards. The glory of God will be seen resting on divine order.
1 Cor 6:14 speaks of another fellowship that we are to guard against. Although every standard that is raised is for the purpose of building greater community, we cannot have part in any fellowship that participates with the works of darkness. Apostolic ministry reproduces itself in the lives of others after the order it was established through.
1 Cor 6:14 - Do not be [a]bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Full Rotation
Even as rotation means to turn completely around on an axis, the same rotation in the spirit leads to Revolution where Christ is fully formed in a person, body or community.
Revolution follows reformation (re-form-ation) to reveal regeneration where ministry once again takes on a new face and new purpose. Even as the form of ministry continually changes, divine order always remains the same. God's glory will continue to rest on divine order from one community to the next to illuminate The Way of Kingdom building. From the continual renewing of our minds in Christ, we likewise continue to grow in our discernment of Christ in our midst from glory to glory.
Blessings and peace,
