We know that the Kingdom has come through the Church. As Dr. Eckhardt points out, the congregations that we're gathered with through the local church is of great importance. Out of our congregations, we look for an established Ekklesia that functions as an actual governing body for the purpose of bringing the Kingdom of God to earth.
Dr. Eckhardt's teachings identify with what we're presently hearing from a corporate prophetic voice in the Body of Christ in this hour. (The Night Will Blossom - The Changing War, by Dr. Chuck Pierce) We're presently receiving many words regarding the change that is coming to the overall structure of the church body. An understanding of the function and purpose of the rising Ekklesia gives us understanding of what God is presently moving to accomplish through these prophetic words. Understanding of God's will in relationship to the church body also serves to impart vision in how to walk these times out as a many-membered body.
Where a true Ekklesia is formed, the members within these fellowships begin rising in stature through Christ. Since the Ekklesia is a governing body, the Kingdom comes to bring order to the whole fabric of life through family, church, and community. For this reason, we begin hearing of a different kind of warfare. The Kingdom comes to establish divine order in every expression of relationship, ministry and government.
An Ekklesia that is fully developed through bodies of Elders will produce apostolic ministry that functions as a finished work. A finished work is needed to manifest the glory of God in the earth. God's glory is especially needed where the work of the Kingdom is penetrating new territories through Apostles and apostolic companies (sent ones).
