Raising the Sons of Issachar

Personal faith is purposed to raise a second witness of the same worship that most of us enjoy in our corporate assemblies.   Whether for lifestyle, community, marketplace, or Five Fold ministry within church leadership, ministry equipping serves to raise us all in our stature as ONE body.

Beyond the church walls, we need true spiritual authority that is born of God’s spirit to empower us to rise as spirit led sons of God.  True spiritual authority empowers us to rise above what much of carnal, natural man deems as relationship, order and functionality within the communities that surround us.  The power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit will only follow true spiritual authority.  Once we learn to rise in in true spiritual authority, the next part of the journey empowers us in the power and demonstration in the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

 Acts 10:38
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

1 Corinthians 2:4
and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

While it’s wonderful  to receive of ministers who operate in power and demonstration of the spirit, it’s far greater for entire bodies to learn to operate in the same.  While all are not called to Five Fold ministry within the church walls, all are called to ministry.   Ministry that operates more fully in spheres outside of the church walls is better understood through prophetic Times and Seasons in relationship with the Sons of Issachar.  The sons of Issachar understood the times with the knowledge of what Israel should do.  (1Chron 12:32)  This becomes a school where ministry is led of the Holy Spirit and this ministry flows out of the lives of those who carry this grace.

Much of our ministry equipping in discerning the Times and Seasons takes place in close relationship with teams or small fellowships.  It’s through these relationships that we begin discerning Christ in our members through the “fullness of times“.  The term, “fullness of times”, simply identifies the time(s) where one or more works of ministry begins to operate as a finished work within a body.  Where this is so, the glory of God begins to be revealed beyond all we have known.  Once in the glory, very little teaching is needed.  In the glory, all relationship brings the Lord’s  quickening spirit so that our members are “on the same page”, or in one mind and one accord.   Ministry becomes greatly accelerated where we go from glory to glory as one body.  In the Lord’s quickening spirit, much of our relationship reveals the original fellowship that God desired to have with the First Adam in the Garden.

The Glory!

During a time when the Holy Spirit was moving on a small fellowship that I was a part of, one of the Elders suddenly proclaimed that she could SEE the sky.  As she did, her own eyes appeared as big as saucers.  Was this not the same sky that she had seen all her life?  What was so different now? The answer to this is that her spiritual eyes were opened to see the realm of the spirit in relationship to her own life.  True dominion authority imparts the same so that all see and all know Christ manifest in his body.

It’s one thing to see the sky; it’s an entirely different matter to see God in the sky.  Once we see God’s glory, we’re never the same again.  In the glory, all relationship is towards furthering the Kingdom of God on the earth.

Join us next time to learn of the ACTS that the glory leads us to be joined to.
